Papers are to be between 6- 8 pages including references, all margins set at 2.5cm, and text justified and single-spaced.

Arial font, 11-point type size, single-spaced.  The whole document should be fully justified. Between paragraphs use a single line (no indentations)

 

BODY OF PAPER (12 POINT, BOLD CAPITAL Arial)

Arial font, 11-point type size, single-spaced.  The whole document should be fully justified, between paragraphs use a single line (no indentations).  All papers must be written in English and submitted electronically in MS Word (.doc) format (see below), using Arial font.

 

·         HEADINGS:  12-point, upper- and lower-case, bold, Capitals, bold.

·         Subheadings: should be 11-point upper- and lower-case in bold and Italics.

·         Justification: Full justification of the document

·         Single line space between paragraphs, no indentations

·         No headers and footers, no page numbers.

 

CONCLUSION (12 POINT, BOLD CAPITAL Arial)

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS (11 POINT, BOLD CAPITAL ARIAL)

(optional) Arial 10 points justified. Do not include author biographies.

Reference list Arial, 11 point, justified, single lines spacing between references. References should be Harvard Style

 

References: citations in text

Use surname of author and year of publication: Jones (1982) or (Jones, 1982). The abbreviation "et al." should be used in the text when there are more than two co-authors of a cited paper.

 





 

IMPORTANT POINTS FOR AUTHORS TO NOTE:

Deadline for receipt of final manuscripts is 5pm 27th July 2007.  All complete papers must be received before the deadline in order to undertake the reviewing process

 

In order for your final manuscript to be published, the following conditions must be satisfied:

 

1.       You must be a currently enrolled at a recognised tertiary institution

 

2.       Your paper must be registered and fully paid-for.

 

3.       Your paper must be presented at the conference by one of the student authors.

 

4.       Your paper must be formatted using the attached guidelines and not exceed 8 pages in length.

 

5.       Your paper must be submitted via email to papers@ere.org.au  as a MS Word (.doc) file attachment only.  All papers must be submitted electronically, and no larger than 4Mb, those papers that are larger please contact the committee at committee@ere.org.au to make other arrangements.

 

6.       Papers must be saved as authors surname (in capitals) follower by first name then 2007ere. Eg for Peter Smith: SMITHpeter2007ere

 

7.       Papers poorly produced or incorrectly formatted past the deadline will not be included in the proceedings.

 

8.       The quality and content of your paper will determine if you present platform or poster

 

The preparation and supply of any handouts or other materials used in any presentation will be the responsibility of the presenter(s).

 

As a commitment to attend and support the Conference, accepted presenters are expected to register and pay, for the full-time program.

 

All costs to attend the Conference, including the registration fee must be met by presenters.
